Hotel Convento do Salvador is a brand of the APCC (Associação para a Promoção Cultural da Criança).
All rights relating to the Hotel Convento do Salvador website (documents, contents and images) are the exclusive property of APCC, and its retransmission and archiving is expressly prohibited without the express authorization of the APCC.
The Hotel Convento do Salvador's website aims to provide information on available services and to make accommodation reservations.
The APCC excludes its liability for any damages that may occur related to the information contained in this website.
By using the Hotel Convento do Salvador website, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Policy.
Privacy Policy
The APCC is a national, non-profit, non-governmental Association that engages in socio-cultural and educational leisure activities for youth and children.
In pursuit of these objectives APCC has developed a project to create the Convento do Salvador Youth Centre, which includes accommodation with a rating of 3 stars called Hotel Convento do Salvador.
Hotel Convento do Salvador is a trademark of APCC.
The APCC respects and guarantees the privacy of the personal data that it has collected, in accordance with the legislation in force and in accordance with the new General Regulation on Data Protection.
This Privacy Policy was approved on May 24, 2018.
The principles followed by APCC in order to ensure that all personal data are treated and protected in a correct and legal manner are:
1. Information provided
Hotel Convento do Salvador promotes the collection of information and personal data of the guests through forms (website or paper).
By using the forms you agree to the collection and use of your information in order to make your reservation and provide the services requested, to ensure the satisfaction of your needs during your stay at the Hotel and/or that we can contact you regarding matters related to your stay at the Hotel.
The Hotel Convento do Salvador website has cookies. We may use aggregated information to monitor the use of our services and to help us develop and improve our website. The aggregated information and statistics does not, however, include details that can be used to identify it.
We may have received personal information from other companies and booking accommodation organizations and rely on such third parties to obtain your consent so that we may use this information.
2. Personal data
Personal data correspond to any information, in relation to an identified or identifiable natural person, of any nature and regardless of the type of medium.
The personal data collected and processed by the Hotel Convento do Salvador are those included in the forms and are intended to efficiently manage the transactions related to hotel accommodation, compliance with legal obligations (Ordinance No. 415/2008, of June 11, which approves the Housing Bulletin model as being a relevant instrument in the system of control of foreigners in national territory), as well as to develop and improve our services.
Personal data will be processed and stored in a computer and paper format. The Hotel Convento do Salvador is committed to safeguarding security conditions, access restrictions and protection of its physical and technological infrastructure. In addition, the computer applications used by Hotel Convento do Salvador allow the activation of the personal data pseudo-determination after checking out or closing the account, as a means of dissociating the personal data contained in the document, file, etc. from the person to whom they relate .
For the purposes mentioned above, the following personal data are collected: name, nationality, date and place of birth, contacts (address, telephone and e-mail), identification document number and tax identification number (if necessary invoice) and payment data.
The owner of the personal data may, at any time, access, correct, eliminate and/or oppose the processing of his personal data.
Hotel Convento do Salvador undertakes to ensure the processing of personal data to the extent and for the time necessary for the fulfillment of its purposes. By keeping certain information related to your stay (history, expense lists) you have the possibility to confirm previous transactions and compare extracts or invoices. As a rule, personal data will be stored for a period of two (2) years after the last contact with the owner of the personal data; the period of two (2) years is renewed if there is contact with the holder of the personal data; the period for the filing of personal data may be extended whenever the situation justifies (provided that in proportion to such situation), in particular to safeguard the rights of Hotel Convento do Salvador and/or APCC.
3. Responsible for the processing of personal data
The APCC is the entity responsible for the collection and processing of personal data collected within the scope of the activity developed by the Hotel Convento do Salvador.
The APCC has a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at the address of the APCC or by e-mail sede@apcc.org.pt.
The rights guaranteed to the holders of personal data, provided for in the Law and in the General Data Protection Regulation, must be requested from the Data Protection Officer.
4. Communication of personal data to third parties
Within the scope of its activity, Hotel Convento do Salvador may use third parties to provide certain services. The Hotel Convento do Salvador undertakes to ensure to the third party(s), through contractual consession, the conditions of security, restrictions of access and protection of personal data that prevent the accidental, accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, dissemination or unauthorized access and any other form of unlawful treatment thereof.
